The Scorpio Races - Maggie Stiefvater
I was given a copy of this book to read and in all honesty probably would not have picked it up myself...but I absolutely love it, having just finished reading it I want to start all over again! It is a slow burn of a story but incredibly gritty, real and strong characters pull you along with writing that evokes an amazing sense of place. A fabulous book, great writing, imaginative! Her best yet, I loved it!
